Fitbit is re-inventing what it means to be healthy by ushering in a new era of self-care. Fit Yourself In expands the definition of self-care beyond just bubble baths and spa days, refocusing real self care on getting a good night sleep, breathing through daily stressors and being present in the moments that matter. We set out to make this global campaign inspire people to shift their patterns and shape their life.

Science shows that simply looking at different visuals have a real, physical effect on your brain and body. Staring at fractal patterns, for instance, can help speed up your recovery from stress by up to 60 percent. Videos that put you in a “trance” tend to make you tired. We used these mesmerizing patterns to build thumb-stopping branded Fitbit experiences—custom-made to help people de-stress and doze off. We used day parting to bring people these soothing, mesmerizing experiences at the exact time they need it most. For example, our stress-specific experience can be served at the statistically most stressful time of day—1:42 p.m (fun fact!). Our sleep-centric experience rolled out at 10 p.m., smack dab in the middle of the universally recommended bedtime window.
